Días de Cine Reading Club presents “Pacto de Brujas” with Ramón Langa, Carlos Sobera and Bárbara Elorrieta, directed by Javier Elorrieta. The movie will be available until July 22nd to participating libraries and universities.

The psychiatrist Julio Degrás is invited by his old friend Captain Salanueva to help him in a murder case with five victims. Salanueva explains that apparently a young man named Ricardo had killed the victims in a bloodshed and later committed suicide; his girlfriend Lidia was found in shock on the road after a car accident. She might have witnessed the murders and help to solve the case. Julio reads Ricardo's diary and finds that he traveled to the village of Senilla with Lidia to an old house that belonged to his family, the Forqué, and discovered that the spot is a coven of the Chornets family that had annihilated his family in the past. Now Ricardo must kill the survivors of the Chomets to fulfill an ancient curse. (Written by Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
