Instituto Cervantes Seminar. Mexican Writer Mónica Lavín on Vargas LLosa and "La Lección de Flaubert"

Mónica Lavín is a writer and journalist. Some of her well-known novels are Ruby Tuesday no ha muerto or La Corredora de de Cuemanco among many others. She has received lot of prizes over the course of her decades-long career, like the Elena Poniatowska Ibero-american Novel Prize for her work Yo, la peor in 2010.

Sponsored by Cátedra Mario Vargas Llosa and the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures at CUNY, with the Instituto Cervantes and the Rifkind Center, with the Cooperation of Consulado General de México. Mario Vargas Llosa received the Cervantes Award in 1994.
