Me olvidé del cielo is the new work by Barcelona-born writer Pere Cervantes, following successes such as El chico de las bobinas or La espía de cristal. Set in the 1920s, this is a novel that blends a dark and historical tone and serves as an excuse to portray a remarkable story of both the city of Barcelona and the turbulent social movements of the time.

The common thread is three main characters with their own unique stories, who share the spotlight with equally important supporting characters. All of them weave a rich, intriguing, and dramatic plot.

It's 1923 Barcelona, ??and a little girl disappears from a crowded movie theater. Her name is Cristina Nomdedeu, and she is the daughter of a prominent textile entrepreneur. All that is known is that a man has taken her. Inspector Basilio Bosc arrives to investigate, returning to his hometown after four years in Madrid.
