Nothing is more charming than this story for kids aged 8 to 88. Our big, fat, sweet cat finds a gull on the roof of a house when the owner is on vacation. The gull asks the cat to care for her egg until it hatches and to teach the hatchling how to fly, since she is about to die from the effects of an oil slick. Guess who helps the cat with this mission. A beautiful and poetic story.
