The youngest of the Ocampo sisters was not only a poet but an excellent writer of short stories, as was her husband, Adolfo Bioy Casares. Her stories are tragic, somber, full of ghostly figures and told with a certain touch of sadism or a spirit of perversion. They are a must-read.
