A Spanish author born in 1966 in Valencia. Etxebarria started out writing marketing material for video cameras and also worked for the magazines Ruta 66 and Cosmopolitan.

She also has worked as a promoter of flamenco and rock music for various record companies and has translated pornographic fiction.

Her first novel, Amor, curiosidad, Prozac y dudas, was released in 1997. That same year she published in the daily El Mundo the erotically charged book La geometría del deseo.

Other works of hers include Estación de infierno, En brazos de la mujer fetiche, Una historia de amorcomo otra cualquiera and a biography of U.S. rock star Courtney Love titled Courtney y yo.
