Planeta launches Istoría, its new historical novel label

'El lazo de púrpura', by Alejandro Núñez Alonso, and 'La Mano Negra', by Daniel Corpas, are the first references of Istoría, the new Grupo Planeta label dedicated to historical novels.

Two titles are also a declaration of intent and a perfect summary of the new label’s intention to combine historical accuracy and entertainment.

Because while Alejandro Núñez Alonso, master of ancient Rome and author of titles such as ‘El denario de plata’ and ‘El hombre de Damasco’, returns to life with the novel with which he won the National Literature Prize in 1957; the writer and scriptwriter of ‘El Ministerio del Tiempo,’ Daniel Corpás, tackles in ‘La Mano Negra’ the secrets of an enigmatic clandestine society in 19th century Spain.
