Spanish publishers and the Germán Sánchez Ruipérez Foundation join forces to promote reading and innovation in the publishing industry.

The Federation of Publishers' Guilds of Spain (FGEE) and the Germán Sánchez Ruipérez Foundation (FGSR) signed today, Thursday 23rd January,

a framework agreement for collaboration that aims to 'consolidate the role of reading in society' and promote innovation in the publishing sector, with special attention to the training of professionals and the international projection of Spanish books.

According to the FGEE in a press release, this agreement, which unites 'two key institutions for the publishing world', demonstrates the 'shared commitment of both organizations to address the challenges and opportunities posed by the publishing industry in the current context'.

The agreement will allow both entities to establish a joint line of work that reinforces the promotion of reading through the demonstration of the positive impacts of reading books and transmitting a message that works as a true marketing engine in favor of reading.
