After a long hiatus, due to the changes that Publishnews has undergone in order to relaunch the Spanish-language book industry newsletter, we can announce the return of one of our most successful sections: the bestseller lists.

As usual, Publishnews can offer you these lists, because they will portray the publishing markets of Spain, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina, thanks to the invaluable collaboration of Nielsen Bookscan. The lists, which for the time being will be monthly, will be divided by country and, in each country, by category: Fiction, Nonfiction, and Children and Young Adult.

We resume this tradition with the Publishnews-Nielsen Spain bestseller lists for February 2024. We will soon publish the Publishnews-Nielsen bestseller lists for Mexico and Colombia. The list of bestsellers in Argentina is made in collaboration with the bookstore Cúspide.

The Publishnews-Nielsen Spain bestseller list collects the sales of print copies in different sites, (independent bookstores, bookstore chains, supermarkets, department stores, etc).
