Editorial Juventud has been awarded the National Prize for the Best Cultural Publishing Work, corresponding to the year 2023.
The jury has highlighted the publishing house "for being a benchmark in the Spanish publishing world, having known how to convey a love for books through universal works with which several generations of readers identify, especially in the field of Children and Young Adult Literature, introducing highly successful series such as The Adventures of Tintín and the books of Enid Blyton».
In addition, the jury has indicated that Juventud "is an independent publishing house that, run by four generations of the same family, has been able to add to the great classics, their own publication line, both in Spanish and Catalan, which has placed the work of national authors on the international scene”.
In the origin and evolution of its hundred years of history, the jury has valued "their ability to adapt, keeping at their center a passion for culture as the engine that runs their work, always maintaining publishing quality and contributing to the cultural world. Their greatest legacy is having helped build a strong reader base that continues to grow."
