The writer María Dueñas has debated this Tuesday, March 28th, about the literary use of Spanglish in America, assuring that it is a phenomenon that "cannot and should not be stopped" and recalling that it is something that has been happening in various parts of Spain for many years.

"Spanglish is a growing phenomenon in the United States, but in Spain there are cases also. For example, the Gibraltar region, which mixes Spanish with an Andalusian accent and British English: it is something very similar," she explained before her participation in a round table at the Congress of the Language of Cádiz.
