The poet, narrator, and translator Aurora Luque (Almería, 60 years old) has been distinguished this Thursday with the 2022 National Poetry Prize for her work ‘Un número finito de veranos.’

The award, granted by the Ministry of Culture and Sport, is endowed with 20,000 euros. The jury highlighted Luque's work in the statement for its "exciting, demanding, transparent, lyrical depth, which places her unmistakable voice as one of the great poets of our time."
