A bilingual bible, the adventures of the Hispanic twins Maya and Miguel in a multicultural neighborhood, or the self-help manual, "Como vivir y triunfar en Estados Unidos." Everything is for sale at the Spanish Book Fair that takes place in Los Angeles.
"LéaLA" is the first edition of a cultural activity aimed at bringing Hispanic-American literature closer to Latinos living in California, one of the states in which they represent the number one minority and are almost as many as whites: 39% of the population.
For three days, this free book fair seeks to promote texts and reading, and also to become a cultural festival in which Hispanics "from all sectors can rediscover their roots" and reflect on "the new society that they are building in the United States.”

The Organizing Committee of LeáLA – Spanish Book Fair and Literary Festival – yesterday announced its calendar for the 2022 edition, which will take place from August 25 to 28 LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes de Los Angeles.
