The Real Academia Española (RAE), promotes the Pan-Hispanic Clear Language Network

The Pan-Hispanic Clear Language Network will contribute to promoting linguistic clarity as the foundation of democratic values and citizenship, as well as the commitment of the authorities to ensure it in all areas of public life.

On June 9th, the Pan-Hispanic Clear Language Network (Red-PHLEC) was established in a ceremony held in the Supreme Court of Justice of Chile. The presentation began with words of welcome from the president of the Supreme Court of Chile, Juan Eduardo Fuentes Belmar, the presentations of the minister president of the Plain Language Commission of the Judiciary, Ángela Vivanco Martínez, and the director of RAE, Santiago Muñoz Machado.

The Pan-Hispanic Clear Language Network promoted by the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) from the presidency of the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language (ASALE) was created with the purpose of adding the various initiatives on clear and accessible language that are being developed in the Spanish-speaking world, an objective of crucial importance to improve relations between public authorities and citizens.
