The map of the Spanish edition of EDI-RED. Interview with José María de la Torre (Ediciones de la Torre).

EDI-RED is a CSIC research group that deals with the cultural history of Ibero-American publishing with its specifics and singularities. We recover their interviews to draw the map of the Spanish edition.

The Ibero-American Editors and Editorials (XIX – XXI centuries) - EDI-RED web aims to map the literary publishing in Spanish, Catalan, Euskera / Basque and Galician, as well as Portuguese, from the 1800s to the present, either on paper or in digital format and in any geographic area.

This ambitious project focuses on the work of editors, publishers, and literary consultants from nineteenth-century boutique companies to the large groups that currently dominate the global Spanish publishing industry.

This website dedicates a specific space to Book Fairs and the publishing world in Spain, the European Union, and Latin America, and in addition, you can also consult video interviews with those responsible for the main Spanish and Latin American fairs (Madrid, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima, FIL Guadalajara).

Today we share this interview with José María de la Torre, editor of Ediciones de la Torre, thanks to the collaboration with EDI-RED. The Ibero-American Publishers and Editorials (19th–21st centuries) – EDI-RED portal aims to trace the map of literary publishing in Spanish, Catalan, Basque/Basque and Galician, as well as in Portuguese, from 1800 to the present, whether on paper or in digital format and in any geographic space.
