Liber, the International Book Fair promoted by the Federation of Publishers Guilds in Spain (FGEE), relaunches its illustration contest to select the graphic image for its next edition, scheduled for October 5-7, 2022 at Fira de Barcelona.

As a requirement, the participants must be members of one of the entities that make up the Federation of Associations of Professional Illustrators (FADIP) and present a work that values ??the book and the promotion of reading.

This is the second time that Liber has called an illustration contest to find the image of the fair and, after the favorable reception shown in 2021, they want to continue doing it every year. The objective of this initiative is to recognize talent in the field of illustration and give visibility to the important link of this practice with books and the publishing world. Last year the Valencian illustrator Irene Blasco was the winner of the contest with a design that showed a reader in total connection with the universe created by reading.
