The journalist Vicente Vallés wins the Award Premio Primavera de Novela with a work of espionage.

The Premio Primavera de Novela Award is endowed with 100,000 Euros and comes together by the combined efforts of Espasa Publishers and Ámbito Cultural de El Corte Inglés.

The jury's decision to award the prize to this novel is based on the intrigue of 'Operation Kazan', which spans almost the entire 20th century reaching the present day.  “It is a story full of intrigue that, from a very original perspective, poses a fictional matter that could well be of the most absolute reality,” declared the jury,

A total of 1,428 works were submitted to this call for the award, of which 694 came from Spain, followed by Argentina and Mexico, with 223 and 110, respectively.
