At Flamboyant today we are celebrating! We have received great news! The New York Public Library has included four of our titles in its selection of The Best Books of 2021.

Sunakay, Construcciones animales, Un paseo por el bosque, (A Walk in the Woods) and the North American edition of Un millón de ostras en lo alto de la montaña (One Million Oysters High on the Mountain) have been selected in this prestigious annual selection. In addition, Sunakay has been voted one of the top 10 best books for children.

After reading more than 350 titles, the selection committee highlighted that “it has been a pleasure and an honor to read books with such diverse voices, and it gives us great joy to be able to highlight these stories; sincere, full of humor and at times tragic."  We are enormously grateful for this recognition!
