Endowed with 400,000 euros, they are intended to promote the translation and editing in foreign languages of works that are part of the Spanish cultural heritage.

The Official State Gazette has published the call of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Spain for subsidies for the promotion of translation into foreign languages, ??corresponding to 2021, for a value of 400,000 euros. The application submission period is open from March 26th to May 4th, 2021.

The aid may be requested by foreign publishers, public or private, for profit or not, by legal or natural persons registered in the autonomous administration of their country of origin, provided that they are legally constituted.

Specifically, these grants are intended to promote and favor the knowledge abroad of the works that make up the common Spanish cultural heritage by financing the cost of translation into a foreign language.
