Rima de Vallbona of the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas; will be inducted as a full member of the North American Academy of the Spanish Language (ANLE) this Friday at the King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center of New York University.

Teacher and author Rima de Vallbona will be inducted as a full member of the North American Academy of the Spanish Language (ANLE), on a ceremony to be held at the King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center of New York University, Friday, May 18th at 7 p.m.

The induction speech of De Vallbona, who teaches at the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas, is titled "Cultural Prerogatives of Aztec Women.” Gerardo Piña-Rosales, ANLE's President, will introduce the new academician, and the response will be given by Carlos E. Paldao (ANLE).
