The 22nd edition of the exhibition, which was held between Saturday and Tuesday, closed its doors with a record of 142,000 visitors, exceeding in 5,000 attendees reached last year's edition.
Ficomic, organizer of the fair of comics, animation and Japanese culture, is already studying alternatives so next year the show may receive even more attendees.
The fair started with an increment in space, from the 60,000 square meters occupied in 2015 to 70,000 this year. This increase in space availability and the fact that the show coincided with a long weekend, resulted in an increase in attendance, said Ficomi, organizers of the fair.
