"Los herederos de la tierra" (The heirs of the earth), a sequel to "La catedral del mar", is published during the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the first installment which will become a TV series.

Ildefonso Falcones (Barcelona, 1959) has many reasons to celebrate; his bestselling novel "La catedral del mar" (The Cathedral of the Sea), has reached a decade of great acceptance by readers all over the world.

The novel now has a sequel which just released in Spain under the title "Los herederos de la tierra" (The heirs of the earth) features new protagonists following their predecessors on the first installment of the series. 

A TV Series is expected to make its debut in 2018.
