Literary translators launched a manifesto to demand greater visibility.

A manifesto in support of the visibility of literary translators has been launched in the media this week.

The document calls for publishers and media professionals to get actively involved in the recognition of the work of the translators.  Driven by the AELC with the support of ACEC and ACE Translators,  the manifesto will be presented, along with the list of new members, on September 30th , the International Day of Translation. To provide maximum publicity, also at international level, the manifesto has Spanish and French versions. In the near future, there will also be an English version.
