Edelvives presents the winners of the Ala Delta and Alandar Awards

“The Secret of Enola” by Daniel Hernández Chambers, was the winner of the XXVII Ala Delta Award, this time geared to children over 10 years old. Based on a true story, the origin of this novel was the discovery of a pigeon in an old fireplace.

The jury valued its dynamic writing and its exaltation of one fundamental value: friendship.  Monica Rodriguez received the XVI Alandar Prize for young audiences for her work "The Score", a story that links music and literature in the Russian steppe. The Illustrated Album Prize was awarded to Chilean illustrator Isabel Rojas and to the Salmantine author Catalina Gonzalez for their joint project "The Family of Odd Dishware", a work that will be released shortly and describes the family life of an "imperfect" numerous family, but always funny and endearing through the different pieces of their dinnerware.
