King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain will preside at the Cathedral of Palencia the ceremony where Emilio Lledó, Luis Alberto de Cuenca, or Carme Riera, among others, will receive their prizes.

The King and the Queen will hand down today the National Culture Awards corresponding to the years 2014 and 2015. In an event that will be held at the Cathedral of Palencia, Felipe and Letizia will be accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Íñigo Méndez de Vigo; the President of the Council of Castile and León, Juan Vicente Herrera; and the Major of Palencia, Alfonso Polanco; as well as many well-known personalities from the world of culture. Noted speakers at the ceremony will include Josep Font, 2014 National Award in Fashion Design; María José Montiel, 2015 National Award in Music; and Roberto Fernández Díaz, 2015 National Award in History of Spain.
