Children’ literature in the spotlight in Bogotá

May 27th, 2016. “The Colombian capital will be the setting for the first Ibero-American festival dedicated to literary works for children and young adults

For the first time in Colombia, a literary festival will be held focusing on books for children and young people. The Santillana and Cátedra Virtual Miguel de Cervantes Foundations have announced that between 31 May and 1 June the Ibero-American Festival of Children’s and Youth Literature will be held at the Teatro de Bellas Artes in the Colombian capital.

The Festival, to which entrance is free, is open to writers, illustrators, editors, librarians and teachers. (…)

In addition to Colombian writers, researchers, writers and editors from Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, Venezuela and Spain have confirmed attendance.
