The Book Fair of Buenos Aires, the most important publishing industry event in South America, closed its doors on May 10th, 2016 with more than 1.2 million visitors having attended. Stephen King was present at the book show, Agencia Efe reports .

The number of participants was the same as last year's event. The fair presented the works of authors like Nobel prize winning author Mario Vargas Llosa of Peru , Argentine journalist Victor Hugo Morales, Argentina's former Minister of Economy Axel Kicillof and Pilar Sordo of Chile, among others.
