American artist Frank Miller, considered one of the greatest artist in comic book history, will be the guest of honor at the 34th edition of the Barcelona Salón Internacional del Cómic (International Comic Book Salon), which will be held May 5-8, 2016, at the Fira Barcelona Montjuïc.

Since the time the event was being organized, they have insisted that this will be the first time this prestigious artist attends a Spanish convention as guest of honor. Frank Miller began his professional trajectory on the late 1970s, and his first collaborations were done for publishing houses such as Gold Key, Marvel and DC Comics. After penciling titles such as Spectacular Spider-Man and Daredevil, he became one of the most prominent authors in the history of DC Comics thanks to a series of projects that are considered today as classics. His most famous work is «Batman: The Dark Knight Returns,» where he portrays an aged, retired Batman who will end up confronting Superman, showing Miller’s vision of a ultra-violent near future dominated by the mass media.
