Spanish author Víctor del Árbol wins prestigious Nadal Literary Prize for his novel: "La víspera de todo" (On the eve of everything).

Del Árbol gets award in addition to other important literary recognitions such as France's Le Gran Prix de Littèrature Policière 2015 and the Lire award for best translated thriller.

"La víspera de todo" is the novel awarded this year by Grupo Planeta's imprint Destino with the Nadal Literary prize. Víctor del Árbol has written a thriller that has fascinated many readers with his traditional intense narrative. 

The Premio Nadal is a Spanish literary prize awarded annually by the publishing house Ediciones Destino, part of Planeta. It has been awarded every year on 6 January since 1944. The current monetary award stands at €18,000 for the winner and since 2010 there has been no runner-up. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious Spanish literary awards.
