McNally Jackson bookstore launches initiative to change the way Spanish language books and translations are sold in the U.S.

McNally Jackson announces crowdfunding initiative to launch IndieSpanish. A new platform aimed at creating a comprehensive logistics database to disseminate information about books, publishers, authors and distribution networks.

Ambitious effort is spearheaded by McNally Jackson's Javier Molea who highlights the lack of attention that Spanish language books have among U.S. publishers and the market in general.

This crowdfunding effort would promote authors, in Spanish and English, on a nationwide effort through different bookselling companies, not just the very few who always are behind these efforts.
