Spanish writer Matilde Asensi: “I don’t know why people compare me with Dan Brown”.

Asensi spoke on the occasion of her new title “El regreso del Catón” (“Cato’s return”).

Up until very recently, Matilde Asensi (Alicante, Spain 1962) had not intention of writing a sequel to her iconic title “El ultimo Catón” (The Last Cato). But the success of this book and requests by readers inspired her into writing the sequel. This is a novel on adventures that combine intrigue and conspiracy theories that question the Christian faith.

Her questioning about the church on her books, has many people comparing her to Dan Brown, which is something that has Asensi confused as there is room for these comparisons.
