Sanchez Ron gets award for his book "The post-revolution world: physics of the second half of the twentieth century".

The jury has acknowledged Sanchez Ron for his unique contributions to "Spain's bibliographic tradition on this field of knowledge, for his extraordinary expertise, and for supporting the scientific revolution, as well as for his influence on society, with a clear use of the language".

This award is granted by Spain's Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports and offers 20,000 Euros. Sanchez Ron is a Physicist by Madrid's Universidad Complutense, with a doctorate in physics by University of London and by the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is member of academia at this university. 

His studies on science focus on the XIX and XX centuries.
