Study suggests that readers in Spain spend one hour per day reading e-books, especially during the weekends.

Online platform Nubico has prepared a profile on digital reading habits in Spain, with very positive findings.

Book Fairs are not the only efforts to promote reading habits in Spain; according to online platform Nubico, a digital e-book reading platform with subscription model (5.99 Euros per month) sponsored by Telefonica and Circulo de Lectores, the average reader in Spain spends at least one hour per day reading e-books.

The highest traffic takes place during the weekends, especially on Sundays, and the least one on Mondays. People use to read more between 5 and 9 pm according to this study by Nubico.

The most recurred genre is fiction, followed by romance novels, thrillers and young adult titles. Among non-fiction genres: health and wellbeing, self-help humanities are the most popular ones.’
