Jun, the Spanish town that became famous thanks to Twitter

This town in Granada has been in the spotlight because all 3,500 inhabitants communicate with each other by using the 140-character social network platform.

Jun looks like a conventional town in Spain with a population of 3,500 persons. But its public life is now a matter of social network communication. The municipality uses Twitter as the most effective channel to be in touch with neighbors.

Even the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has praised the model and plans to replicate it in other urban settings.
