The importance of the Spanish Language in the U.S

In recent days, Spain organized two important presentations as a Global Partner of the Association of International Educators NAFSA. During these sessions Mr. Mark H. Lopez, Director of Hispanic Research, Pew Research Center and Alfonso Gentil Álvarez-Ossorio from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports discussed the importance of the Spanish Language in the U.S. as well as the state of Innovation on the Spanish Higher Education system.

Both presentations were well received and generated a great audience who showed the healthy and renovated interest for Spain’s language and education. Today Spain in the third destination for American Students Worldwide after Italy and U.K. as the number of American visiting Students increased 51% since the year 2001.
