According to Spain’s Ministry of Culture, roughly 2% more books were published in 2014 compared to previous year.

The number of applicants for ISBN Numbers in Spain accounted for 90,802 titles in 2014, this represents a 1.9% increase versus the previous year. Nonetheless, this growth has not yet reached the highest point before the financial crisis hit the country. In 2010, the number of published books reached 114,459 titles.
