“Cervantes. La figura en el tapiz” (Cervantes. The figure on the canvass) unveils many misconceived aspects about Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra’s life. The author establishes that many readers have an idealized conception about the writer who was not that heroic, nor that intellectual, but he was certainly not an upstart.
