Samanta Schweblin wins the Ribera del Duero’s IV Short Narrative International Award

The book by Argentinean writer Samantha Schweblin was picked out of 856 different literary works by authors from 32 different countries. The book will be published in Spain by the end of May.

“Siete casas vacias” (Seven empty houses) is the tentative title of this Ribera del Duero literary award. The jury was presided by writer Rodrigo Fresan, along with other prestigious writers such as Pilar Adon, Jon Bilbao, Guadalupe Nettel and Andres Neuman.

The Ribera del Duero Short Narrative International Award is granted by the Paginas de Espuma publishing house.
