The Bee began on Tuesday, Feb. 24 with 56 participants and ended  March 13. The Bee was postponed after snow caused an early dismissal on the Feb. 24 start to the competition.

“The rescheduling of the Bee took time as organizers had to schedule around PARCC testing times at each school, compounded by the fact that they had to finish their competition before the New Mexico State Spanish Spelling Bee on April 11, 2015 in Albuquerque. “
