23 percent of books published in Spain are digital

Ebook turnover in that country rises by 8 percent, to 80,26 million euros, while sales of printed books fell by 9.7 percent, according to the Federation of Publishers Guilds of Spain (FGEE).

“Currently, one in three readers opts for reading digital books, according to the report by Sociedad de la Información en España 2014 published by the Fundación Telefónica. To that,, Carlos Martinez, CEO of IMF Business School and Director of the Masters in Educational Technology, said that 'digital books are gaining ground to the traditional paper book'".
