Mi Casita will open in February with about 35 students and 12 native Spanish speaking teachers. Melissa Page, founder of the school and former Philadelphia public school teacher, says they’ll work up to full capacity in the spring.

“Located at the corner of 15th Street and Ridge avenue in Fairmount, Mi Casita, which means “my little house,” is still under construction, but boasts colorful and spacious rooms that’ll eventually house up to 70 children from ages 18 months to five years old.”
