Carmen Boullosa: “Writers are not born, but made”

Considered for some the best Mexican writer, Boullosa talks to El País about her books her background as a poet, what books seduce her, why now days is important being a fast selling author, and why she is not one of them.

“The first news I had of her, spoke of a beautiful woman for whom Mexicans poets lost their heads. Carmen, who then still did not write novels, was also a Mexican poet. I did not know what to expect.”
