Oregon elementary school launches dual language program

Springfield’s Guy Lee Elementary is starting a dual language immersion program, and its kindergarten students will continue learning English and Spanish, as the school will keep adding one grade level to the program each year.

About 6 percent of the district’s 11,000 students are in a program to help them learn English.”
