Tech savvy Hispanic market is underserved on Kindle and audio books

Through her personal experience, Janet Tavakoli writes about the process of translating a book into Spanish and how diverse the Hispanic market is in the U.S. She hired a Salvadorian translator and had friends from Bolivia, Chile and Spain reading the manuscript. After that process, she found out how difficult it is to reach ebooks and audio books for hispanic audiences.

“A couple of months ago I asked indie mystery authors how they are getting their books translated to Spanish. To my surprise, only a handful of authors were translating their books. I'll explain why in a moment,” Tavakoli writes, before explaining how diverse the hispanic market is in the U.S and why there is not an easy way tor reach Hispanic Kindle readers and audiophiles.
