Author Norma Tamayo named award winning author by the International Latino Book Awards

Pennsylvania author Norma Tamayo has been named an Award Winning Author for her young adult novel “A Girl Named Nina,” by the International Latino Book Awards, the largest in the United States celebrating achievements in Latino literature and culture.

“Over the last 16 years the International Latino Book Awards has grown to become the largest Latino literary and cultural awards in the United States. Among this year’s honorees were well known celebrities and authors, including Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Winners hailed from across the United States and from 18 countries outside the United States. Sales of books by past winning authors have totaled more than 200 million copies.”
