Spanish writer Juan Gómez Jurado says that he sells more in the US than in Spain

El Mundo interviews the author that called Hollywood's attention after his books became bestseller in Germany and the U.S. He spoke about the digital book market and why he joined the Save the Children campaign.

“Not as media oriented as Ken Follet, nor as controversial as Salman Rushdie. Neither does he have a Nobel prize as Orhan Pamuk or is a billionaire as JK Rowling. He's our neighbor, lives in Moratalaz, has two children and works as a journalist in various media outlets. That is, at least, in Spain. In Finland Juan Gómez-Jurado is an essential name in any decent library, and in the United States and Germany, everything he publishes becomes a bestseller.”
