Spanish award-winning author to participate in BEA’s forum

Marcos Giralt Torrente is one of the successfully translated authors that will be adding their perspective at the BEA’s Global Market Forum 2014: Books in Translation, on May 28th at noon in New York. Then at 7 p.m. he will be at McNally Jackson Books in conversation with Francisco Goldman on his books “The End of Love” and “Paris.” Torrente will have three of his books released in English to the US market from three different publishing ventures within a span of 18 months.

Marcos Giralt Torrente is an award-winning writer from Madrid. He has published several books in Spain, including the novels Paris (Herralde Novel Award), Los seres felices and Tiempo de vida (Spanish National Book Award), Nada sucede solo and the collections of short stories Entiéndame and El final del amor (International Short Fiction Award Ribera del Duero).
