New Hampshire school's exchange program seeks hosts for Spanish students

Winnacunnet High School language arts teacher Ellen Knollmeyer, local coordinator for the Center for Cultural Exchange Greenheart (CCI) program, is seeking people willing to host Spanish exchange students this summer and learn about another culture at the same time.

"It's a chance to have a global perspective. It's a great way to learn about another culture. A lot of people don't have the opportunity to travel, so this is a chance to bring the culture here,” Knollmeyer said to Seacoastonline.com. A dozen high school-aged students from Spain will stay in the Hampton area from June 28 through July 26. So far, Knollmeyer has three families signed up to host.
