This afternoon, as part of the UNE General Assembly, the Aura restaurant in Zaragoza hosted the presentation of the 28th Spanish National University Publishing Awards,
which recognize the best works published by Spanish universities and research centers in three different categories.
The jury that selected these works met on July 16 and was composed of Nuria Azancot, editor-in-chief of El Cultural de El Español; Eva Catalán, Education at La Conversación; Laura Revuelta, cultural journalist; Eva Orúe, director of the Madrid Book Fair; and Jorge Corrales, general director of CEDRO. Pedro Rújula, from the University of Zaragoza Press Office, acted as secretary of the jury.
The winning works in this edition and the jury's justification in each case were as follows:
- La geometria de los cuentos. Infografías literarias , by Isabel González, (Universidad de León).
- Historia del vacío, by José Luis de Segovia, (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas).
- La patografía en España. Visiones y relatos de la salud en el cómic, by Inés González Cabeza, (Universidad de León).
- La esclavitud contemporánea, by Lucas Isaac Soares Mesquita, (Universidad de Salamanca).
