Writer Jordi Sanglas, author of the novel ‘100,000 Candeles’, published in 2013, died on Friday at the age of 46, according to his publisher, Males Herbes.

Born in Vic (Osona) in 1979, although originally from Roda de Ter, he was the author of a single novel, the fifth book published by Males Herbes, a marvel about the youth that slips away from us and the impossibility of retaining the magic of adolescence, according to the publisher.

Sanglas, who was a camera operator, had contributed to several underground publications and fanzines and had written scripts for documentaries, as well as creating the series Croatan and Rosaparks for the Local Television Network.
